Colin Smith

1) I've always liked the name Colin and it seemed to fit with his attitude, which is kinda "Fuck you." I chose Smith because it's kinda bland and common, and Colin is anything but common. I like juxtaposition. :3
2) He was made for a school project I'm working on where he's the main character, but his story was in my head long before that. Eh. I don't really know why I did.
3) I created him basically a week ago, so I don't think the flushing out I'm doing really counts. Though I did originally imagine him as a lot more innocent looking.
4) He may become a Grim Reaper impersonator! Yep.

Kasha Smith

1) I kinda fished around for a name and just.. came up with Kasha. Once again, it seemed to fit with her personality. She's Colin's half sister and I wanted to clearly show they were related.
2) She was also made for the school project, but she's kinda always existed as long as Colin has.
3) She's... more clueless than I first imagined her, but that's pretty much it.
4) She's the only person without a superhuman gift in her storyline.

Maria Fernandez de Vivara

1) Maria's name centers around her hispanic ancestry. Maria and Fernandez are very common Spanish names. Vivara, however, is the midevil name for Burgos, a Spanish city. I thought it added a bit more to her air of mystery.
2) Maria has actually existed far before I thought of her story. (She doesn't really have a back story right now, but shhhh!) She appeared as a kind of mythical girl in orange and black. I tried to think up a story for her and she ended up as Colin's... not really friend, but something close to it.
3) I thought she looked far too much like Kasha and decided to change her completely. Hence she ended up as a flamboyant yet mysterious girl who wears extremely colorful skater-punk style clothing. Oh, and dark sunglasses everywhere.
4) She wears sunglasses because she has no irises or pupils and that freaks people out. She can see perfectly, but she likes to trick people into thinking she's blind. (Ie. walking around with one of those white canes in the subway.)
